Maddy Minchew Crawford

Maddy is from the military town of Leavenworth, Kansas and graduated in 2016 from KU with a degree in Business Marketing and a minor in Journalism. This is her seventh year serving on staff with Christian Challenge as the co-leader of our Freshmen Ministry, 834, and our social media manager. She loves to travel, play tennis, and spend time with her friends. Maddy is passionate about pursuing Christ-seeking relationships with younger women and loves campus ministry because of the influence it has had on her own life and walk with Jesus. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Biblical Counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Maddy recently got married to Matt Crawford and they love hosting students in their home along with their two dogs - Phoebe and Homer.

Megan Meadows

Megan graduated from K-State in 2017 with a degree in Business. Megan officially joined the Christian Challenge family in Spring of 2020 after her internship with Challenge and a year of working in Kansas City. After 2 1/2 years of ministry with the Wildcats, she made the switch to the Jayhawks! Megan's role on staff looks like meeting one-on-one with women for discipleship and helping lead the worship ministry. Megan loves working with college students because she is convinced there is no life found outside of Jesus, and working to help students move towards believing this truth is worth the effort! She loves to sing, camp in the backyard, try new foods, and snuggle her 17 lb. cat, Konza.

will & makenzie wipperman

Will has deep roots here in Lawrence - He and his wife Makenzie are glad to have landed in this awesome town! Will loves all kinds of sports and outdoors, as well as reading. He has come to believe that God asks us to be genuine and authentic with our lives. Will strives to draw everyone in his life to a genuine, loving relationship with their creator. Makenzie is originally from Overland Park, KS and attended Kansas State University, graduating in 2016. God really cultivated a love for discipleship in her during her time involved in Christian Challenge at K-State. Makenzie and Will were married in 2017; and they are beginning their fifth year on staff together at KU Christian Challenge. They have two daughters, Evangeline and Lillian! Makenzie's role on staff largely has to do with mobilizing students to go overseas on summer trips; something she is ecstatic about! She believes with her whole heart that "the good life" is found in Christ and gets pumped to see students give their lives over to him! Makenzie enjoys exploring the great outdoors, learning about other cultures and traveling to other countries, and hosting people in her home.

Tyler Edelman

Tyler aka TY is from Sabetha, KS and graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Elementary Education. This is Tyler's 4th year with KU Challenge! Tyler enjoys sports, traveling, and learning about new cultures! His greatest passion though is investing into the lives of others and helping them to find and experience true life and satisfaction that is in Christ. His main roles are with discipleship training, summer overseas training, and working with international students.

amber dunn

Amber is a Johnson county girl, born and raised. After graduating from Kansas State University in December 2019, she completed the two-year House Internship with Christian Challenge at KSU. During her time at K-State and overseas, God gave her a deep desire for all nations to know Him, a love for discipleship, and passion for seeing spiritual head-knowledge become experiential, personal heart-knowledge. Her life mission statement is simple, yet says it all: “Love God. Be loved by God. Bring others to love God.” Along with ministry, Amber thrives in creation, painting, reading, linguistics, hospitality, and local coffee shops. She is excited to put off the Wildcat and put on the Jayhawk, for the sake of the Kingdom!
