Freshman Connection
is a ministry that is designed specifically for Freshmen at KU. We know that the first year of college can be a difficult transition for many, and we hope that at Freshman Connection you will find friends that you can walk through the next 4 (or more) years of your life with! There will be older students and some staff members to help make your first semester at KU enjoyable and encourage your walk with God during and after your college years.
You'll meet for two weeks as a collective group of Freshmen before you get divided into your individual LIFE groups.
The verse of inspiration for Freshman Connection is from Mark 8:34:
"Then, calling to the crowd to join his disciples, Jesus said, "If any of you wants to be my disciple, you must turn away from your selfish ways, take up your cross, and follow me."
